How to install a Constant Contact inline-form to your website - Single Page

For a Constant Contact  Inline Sign-up Form, there are two pieces of code that need to be installed: the Universal Code and the Inline Code. The Universal Code will be set up in Google Tag Manager (GTM) as a new tag. The Inline Code will be copied and pasted to your CMS page. Follow the instructions below to install both the Universal Code and Inline Code, respectively:


Installing the Universal Code

  1. From the Google Tag Manager (GTM) dashboard, click Add a new tag 
  2. Overwrite the Untitled Tag field with Constant Contact Inline Form 
  3. Click anywhere in the Tag Configuration section and select Custom HTML 
  4. Paste your Constant Contact Universal Code into the HTML body 
  5. Next, click anywhere in the Trigger Configuration section 
  6. Click the + sign in the upper-right hand corner 
  7. Overwrite the Untitled Trigger field with the name of the single page (ex. Events page, Contact Us, name of program page, etc.)  
  8. Click anywhere in the Trigger Configuration and select Page View 
  9. Mark the Some Page Views radio button 
  10. From the drop-down menu that appears, select Page URL 
  11. Paste the URL of the page into the open field box 
  12. Click Save from the upper right-hand corner 
  13. Click Save again from the upper right-hand corner 
  14. Click Submit to publish your changes 
  15. Give the Version name of Constant Contact Update
  16. Give a brief description of the update (ex. Constant Contact inline form addition to the programs page)
